Welcome Panther Nation.
I am honored and excited to serve as the principal of KASE Academy. I am a graduate of Lamar University where I received a Bachelor of Science in Family Consumer Science with an emphasis in Family Studies. Upon graduating, I completed a certification program with Texas Teachers to become a high school teacher. Once I began teaching, I rejoined the Cardinal family to pursue a Master of Education degree in School Counseling. However, I did not stop there. I later earned an Educational Leadership certification.
It has been a pleasure serving the students and the community of Sheldon ISD for the past 12 years. This year we pledge our commitment to excellence in all that we do as we seek to provide students with opportunities to address academic deficiencies and be college or workforce ready. We look forward to partnering with our stakeholders to positively impact overall student growth. My focus is to make every child successful, creating life-long learners. As the academy principal, I am here to assist students with removing any barriers to success. These obstacles could be in the area of academics, career, social, and emotional development both at school and in life. I look forward to having a wonderful 22-23 school year, as we work together for EVERY CHILD, EVERY DAY.
