Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year at King Academic School of Excellence and the Sheldon ISD DAEP Program.

I am honored to serve in my fourth year as principal, and I am truly "B"eyond excited to continue this journey with our incredible students, families, and staff. Each year, our commitment grows stronger. We are here not only to meet students where they are but also to prepare them for where they are going.

Our theme this year, “The Marathon Continues: The Pursuit of Excellence,” reflects the long-term vision we hold for our students. This is not a sprint. It is a steady and intentional race toward graduation and post-secondary readiness—college, career, military, or any path they choose with purpose.

We believe in second chances, fresh starts, and the kind of growth that transforms lives. Through high expectations, personalized support, and strong partnerships with families, we are committed to helping every student succeed.
