SB12 Annual Consent Form

During the 89th Texas Legislative Session, lawmakers passed Senate Bill 12, which requires schools to get annual parental consent before providing routine physical or mental health services. This includes things like first aid, short-term counseling, or social emotional support. To complete the consent form in Skyward:

  • Log into your Skyward Family Access account
  • Locate the 2025-26 Student Handbook Form
  • Indicate whether or not you consent.

Counselor

I am truly excited to serve as the counselor at KASE Academy for the 2025–2026 school year. With 38 years of experience in education—including 27 years proudly serving in various roles within Sheldon ISD—I am eager to continue supporting the growth and success of our students.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the honor of working with students from a wide range of backgrounds, and I deeply value the importance of creating a supportive, inclusive, and nurturing environment. My goal is to ensure every student feels heard, respected, and empowered to reach their highest potential—academically, emotionally, and socially.

I believe that strong partnerships between families and schools are essential. Open communication is the cornerstone of student success, and I’m here to support both students and families every step of the way. Whether you need academic guidance, emotional support, or help navigating school life, please know my door is always open.

I look forward to building meaningful relationships and contributing to a positive and enriching experience for every member of our KASE community.

Here’s to a rewarding and successful 2025–2026 school year!
